He also feels that he worked quicker than his brother Tim, writing songs quicker, while his brother focused on the quality of the music. Though Geoff appreciates his fans' support over the years, he personally does not remember his music fondly, and said that he is very unlikely to work on anymore video games. His favorite console that he worked on was the SNES because of the instrument samples they were able to use, and his least favorite being the Game Boy. As a composer, his influences include Yes, Genesis, Rush, Vangelis, and various folk music. After graduating, Geoff was working a job on a potato field, and when his brother Tim asked him about working for Software Creations with him, he accepted. He attended the University of Nottingham for Environmental Biology, as he liked nature. He later started getting trumpet, piano, and guitar lessons. Geoff has had a musical upbringing from his family his mother and grandmother played the piano, and he also sang in the church choir. However, when Maya, the last student to arrive, turns him down, Jimmy's rage. There they meet Jimmy Hall, the creepy landlord, who invites them to watch his late night comedy show.
